"Until death, all defeat is psychological"

I created Mimic AI to transform passive tech learning into an engaging, conversational experience. Inspired by prominent coding educators like Hitesh Choudhary and Piyush Garg, I designed an interactive platform that lets developers seek programming mentorship, career advice, and project feedback from AI personas that authentically reflect each creator's unique voice.
To achieve lifelike interactions, I engineered a dynamic prompt generation pipeline that injects background biographies, verified course resources, cultural nuance, and Hinglish catchphrases into the LLM. I also integrated customizable tone presets and temperature controls, allowing users to tailor response depth and creativity.
On the frontend, I leveraged the Vercel AI SDK to stream real-time responses into a sleek, glassmorphic interface with syntax-highlighted markdown. To elevate user experience, I built an in-memory context store preserving multi-turn conversation history across persona switches without triggering unwanted re-renders.
For security and resource management, I implemented route protection using Clerk and sliding-window rate limiting via Upstash Redis. This architecture prevents API abuse and quota exhaustion while delivering a fast, production-ready mentorship platform.
